Run reefer produce freight on a regional account with the schedule and home time spelled out before you move forward. Pay, Route and Freight • Estimated weekly earnings: $1,500–$1,600 • Home time: daily • Schedule: Drivers typically start anywhere between 8:0:00 AM and Midnight depending on their trip plans for that day and work 5 to 6-day work weeks. Overnight work is required often. Expect to work weekends and holidays. • Operating area: Wilmington, DE to Bethlehem, PA back to Wilmington, DE–all drop and hooks • Freight: Mostly Drop and Hook of containers with exception of a few lanes that are live unload. This is a no touch freight account. • Equipment type: Intermodal • New hire transition bonus listed on this account Responsibilities • Run regional routes and return freight according to dispatch • Unload or assist with freight when the account requires it • Complete drop/hook, live load, or live unload stops as assigned • Be comfortable with night driving when assigned • Communicate delays, breakdowns, and schedule issues promptly Qualifications • CDL-A required • 6 months of recent driving experience required • Required endorsement(s): Tanker; TWIC • TWIC card is required. If they do not have one then we require them to get a TWIC card during the first week onsite.
