Run auto parts freight on a local account with the schedule and home time spelled out before you move forward. Pay, Route and Freight • Estimated weekly earnings: $1,400 • Home time: daily • Schedule: Start times can vary anywhere between 22:00 to 16:00. Monday–Saturday (when teaming the 10 hr break daily will be in the truck so they don’t actually go home) • Operating area: GA, AL, MS, TN, FL, NC, SC • Freight: Touch freight: Delivering cages, totes and lose pieces to account dealerships • Equipment type: Dry Van • New hire transition bonus listed on this account Responsibilities • Run local deliveries and shuttle work as assigned • Communicate delays, breakdowns, and schedule issues promptly Qualifications • CDL-A required • 12 months of recent driving experience required • Drivers must be willing to run both the account and the account (about 90% of the time) • The physical requirement is handling, positioning, and securing delivery roller cages and lifting loose boxed parts on the floor and overhead in trailer attic on/off trailer in/out of dealership.
